It is anticipated that either 2 or 3 agreements will be awarded.

Deliver Stansted Airport Limited capital construction programme (small and medium projects) of approximately 30 projects whose estimated aggregate value is circa 13 500 000 GBP during the period 1.8.2009 to 31.3.2011.
Contractors will be required to work with the contracting entity and other of its sub-contractors and consultants to deliver the capital construction programme to achieve:
— Stansted Airport Limited's regulatory performance requirements,
— Industry leading safety performance standards; and,
— Sector leading value from Stansted Airport's capital investment.

Registering interest in this project does not guarantee inclusion of the party on the tender enquiry list. Interested suppliers must provide information which demonstrates their ability to comply with criteria 1 to 14 below by uploading this information into
www.airportsmart.com (failure to do so will result in their request being rejected without further enquiry). Please ensure responses are concise (less than 500 words per question). No pre-printed or other marketing information should be submitted. In evaluating their suitability, suppliers may be requested to provide additional information - i.e. written response to a qualification questionnaire / request for proposal document; presentations; reference visits/inquiries; and, attend an interview.
In order to be eligible for the selection process, suppliers will be required to provide evidence of the following (not in any specific order of importance):
1. A proven track record of successfully delivering quality branded facilities in the transportation (especially airports) sector on-time, under budget and to the required quality over the last 24 months;
2. A good understanding of the UK construction industry, its processes, best practices, safety standards and legislation;
3. An in-house design capability (for options development onwards) or a mature outsourced relationship for the delivery of detailed design;
4. An existing, secure and stable direct workforce and 2nd tier supplier base;
5. Working in controlled, secure and highly operational environments;
6. Consistent delivery of projects to exceptional health, safety and environmental standards;
7. An actively managed quality assurance process that assures consistent delivery of construction project outcomes to the standard agreed with the client;
8. A track record of resolving issues through collaboration rather than litigation;
9. A track record of providing responsive, 24 hour per day 365 days per annum, short lead time construction services and emergency construction services for a period of not less than 6 (six) months during the last 24 (twenty-four) months;
10. A track record of delivering capital projects through an innovative organisational structure of your (and your sub-contractor's) resources to minimise resource costs and maximise the value for money to the client; and
11. A track record of delivering solutions with a focus on whole life costs.
12. At least ten (10) completed airport-related projects with an individual construction value between 50 000 GBP and 1 000 000 GBP within the last 2 (two) years;
13. At least 3 (three) additional completed retail, transport or logistics related projects with an individual construction value between 50 000 GBP and 1 000 000 GBP within the last two (2) years; and
14. An actual turnover, for the legal entity who are intended to deliver the construction projects, of at least (ten) 10 000 000 GBP per annum (for at least 2 years during the period 2006 to 2009).
