This contract strives to ensure all Isle of Wight Council properties containing water systems are kept and can be maintained to the standards as generally required by document L8-Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) & Guidance “Legionnaires’ disease: The control of legionella bacteria in water systems”. This contract will in addition enable The Council to monitor and record the condition and safe operating parameters of all water systems as necessary during the duration of the contract. The contract will be let against a set programme of monitoring and water management works, with the addition of set activities which may be called for under the terms of the contract against a schedule of rates which is to be agreed under the scope of the contract.
