Kensington Housing Trust, part of the Catalyst Housing Group, was established in 1926 and is responsible for general needs rented housing and estate regeneration in central and inner-west London. Kensington Housing Trust focus on its core business of managing and maintaining its homes while development, finance, and corporate services associated with its portfolio are provided by the non asset holding parent company, the Catalyst Housing Group (the Client) who are also the developer.
The Client intend to undertake a full redevelopment of the Wornington Green Estate in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea over a series of phases. This project is for the delivery of the first phase of the development (comprising blocks 1 to 3), initially for block 1 and with an option to break on blocks 2 and 3.
Catalyst need to engage on a contractor on a firm price for the delivery of block 1, and by agreement blocks 2 and 3. The works will constitute the decant of the tenants from the existing buildings on the site and the delivery of 321 mixed tenure units.

Estimated total value of construction works for Blocks 1, 2 & 3 including infrastructure and non-residential elements is 80 000 000 GBP.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 80 000 000 EUR.

Bidders who satisfy any of the criteria for rejection set out in Article 45 of the EU Public Procurement Directive 2004/18 and clause 23 of SI 2006 No.5 shall be treated as ineligible.
