INFORMATION ABOUT LOTS

LOT NO 1 TITLE: Works up to GBP 5 000 in value
1) SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Minor works up to GBP 5 000 in value, generally of a simple nature with single trade involvement.
2) COMMON PROCUREMENT VOCABULARY (CPV):

45210000, 45215140, 45410000, 45420000, 45430000, 45440000, 45450000, 45260000.

3) QUANTITY OR SCOPE:
This will be straightforward call off type work of a simple nature with single trade involvement, the cost of which can be agreed on the basis of a schedule of pre-agreed rates (for example the replacement or adding of electrical sockets to a room, redecoration of small areas of the building, replacement of small areas of flat roofing). The number of framework contractors depends upon the type of firm who express an interest. As well as general builders who can undertake various types of work, a range of specialist sub-contractors is also being sought. For example roofing companies, painter & decorators, specialist flooring companies and the like.

1) SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Small scale works including alteration and refurbishment.

3) QUANTITY OR SCOPE:
Works of a smaller scale, including alterations and refurbishment for which on (or more typically) several trades will be involved. As with Lot 1 a number of trade contractors are being sought for this framework as well as general builders. Small works departments of larger contracting organisations are also invited to tender.

Works in this Lot will typically be either a major capital spend on one trade, for example re-roofing of a building or a minor works project involving a number of trades.
