Total quantity or scope:
Construction of an isloated piled concrete platform and two mooring dolphins. The platform supports 2 specialist ammunitioning cranes plus power packs and crew accommodation. The facility is to be constructed in Portsmouth Harbour on Crown Estate seabed. A shore site compound with wharfage will be provided for the Contractor's use during the construction period.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: Applicants will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 on the basis of information provided in response to a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ), copies of which are available on request from Mrs Carolyn M Williams at the address and contact details set out at 1.1. All completed PQQs must be completed and returned to the address at 1.1 by 12:00 hours on 8.5.2009.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: The Authority intends to invite a minimum of 3 Applicants and retains the flexibility to invite a maximum of 5 Applicants to particpiate in the Invitation to Tender. Selection will be made on the basis of order of ranking at PQQ stage at which the criteria referred to in the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 will be assessed and marked.
