II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The Copernicus Services Department of ECMWF is responsible for the implementation of CAMS and C3S, including Contract Management, Communication and User Support functions.

Most of the Copernicus budget is executed by contractors selected via competitive procurements. Contractors providing Copernicus services to ECMWF include a wide range of research institutes, Universities, SMEs and large multinationals active within the climate change and air quality communities in Europe and beyond.

In line with the CAMS and C3S implementation plans agreed with the European Commission, the portfolio of contracts managed by ECMWF is expanding. ECMWF is seeking for consultancy support services for the Copernicus Contract Management Section whose key responsibilities include the organisation and continuous monitoring of the outsourced activities for compliance with the contractual arrangements.
