Fortis Living is in the market for a Principal Contractor for a proposed (subject to full planning) new office development for the Fortis Group. Alongside this new office, off Great Western Way, Worcester, there will be 3 light industrial units developed. Fortis is looking for a Principal Contractor who can clearly demonstrate relevant experience of a similar mixed development site and a clear experience and commitment to managing a wide supply chain. The plan is to start on-site (subject to planning approval in June/July) in September 2017 for a 9-month development period.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals
Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Fortis Living will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the Contract to be awarded at conclusion of the procurement exercise begun by publication of the Contract Notice is communicated to tenderers. The Public Contracts Regulations provides for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or at risk of harm by breach of those regulations to take action in the High Court.
Generally, any such action must be brought within 30 days from the date the aggrieved party knew or ought to have known about the alleged breach. Where the Contracts have not been entered into the court may order the setting aside of the Award Decision or order Fortis Living to amend any document and may award damages. If the Contract has been entered into the court may only award damages or where the award procedures have not been followed correctly may in certain circumstances declare the Contract award to be ‘ineffective’.
