Construction of approx. 65,000 sqft of predominantly commercial office space over 7 floors with ground floor retail/leisure units and basement provisions.
The works are located in Wolverhampton City Centre and form part of a wider redevelopment scheme.
The 2-stage procurement process for the design and construction of a mixed-use commercial development culminating in the award of the project on a fixed price basis.
Awarded contractor will be responsible for developing the design for a fixed price contract award. Contract to be awarded on a JCT (D&B) basis.
Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Considerate Contractors (or equivalent).
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) (or equivalent).
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) (or equivalent).
ISO 9001, 14001 (or equivalent).
Tendering contractors must be able to display an annual turnover in excess of £20,000,000.00.
A Dun and Bradstreet score of '5A 1' is expected.
All tendering contractors must be able to display a previous working experience of design and constructing low/mid-rise buildings (minimum of 6 floors) within a city center environment.
Experience in working adjacent/near ongoing infrastructure/transport interchange works is desirable.
An experience in constructing to BREEAM excellent standards is essential.
