Supply, installation and 'all-purpose' maintenance of point of sale terminals (POS terminals or cash registers) and related equipment for the catering service of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Description of requirements as regards the supply:
the supply includes the delivery and installation of point of sale terminals (POS terminals or cash registers), related equipment and a central processing unit, and training of users.
Spare parts must be available over a minimum period of 8 years (estimated lifespan of the POS terminals).
The framework supply contract has an initial duration of 1 year and may be renewed by tacit agreement for 3 periods of 1 year.
Description of requirements as regards the services:
the services involve 'all-purpose' maintenance of the POS terminals, related equipment and central processing unit.
The maintenance involves 2 stages:
— the 'full service' warranty, which runs for 2 years as from the date of final acceptance of the supply. This maintenance is to be free of charge for the contracting authority.
— 'all-purpose' maintenance, which takes effect at the end of the 'full service' warranty period. This maintenance is to be paid for by the contracting authority.
The 'full service' warranty and the 'all-purpose' maintenance involve the same services. These services cover all components (hardware, software), the helpdesk service, labour and all call-outs required for the maintenance and repair of the point of sale terminals (POS terminals or cash registers), the central processing unit and the related equipment supplied and installed under the framework supply contract.
The framework service contract has an initial duration of 4 years and may be renewed by tacit agreement at the end of the fourth year for 4 periods of 1 year.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: for the contract referred to in this invitation to tender, the Court of Justice of the European Union requires tenderers to have a minimum financial and economic capacity, which shall be assessed on the basis of the following:
— copy of balance sheets or extracts from balance sheets and profit and loss accounts for the past 3 financial years, together with a copy of any reports from the board of directors and external auditors, if available, relating to those financial years. If, for a valid reason substantiated by supporting documents, the candidate is unable to provide them, he must enclose a solemn declaration stating the annual profits after tax for the past 3 financial years.

for the contract referred to in this invitation to tender, the Court of Justice of the European Union requires tenderers to have the following technical and professional capacities:
— at least 5 years' experience of maintenance services/deliveries and installations similar to those required in the contract in question,
— a distribution and maintenance network for point of sale terminals (POS terminals or cash registers) in Luxembourg or the surrounding area,
— list of the principal maintenance services carried out in the area of cash registers and related equipment in the past 3 years, with the sums, dates and public or private recipients.
