DUD — Provision of New Level Access Shower Installations and Refurbishment Works.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council invites tenders for the provision of new level access shower installations and refurbishment works together with all associated works to council owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing association owned properties within the borough of Dudley.
It would not be appropriate to split this Contract into lots, as this will not provide the council with any advantage in terms of economies of scale.
In general, work requirements are to comprise of the following areas:
Design service for the provision of existing and proposed bathroom layouts;
Provision of asbestos testing and removal of asbestos;
Stripping out of existing bathrooms;
Provision of level access shower including under floor shower tray, slip resistant flooring and care shower;
Management of work programme.
Provision of New Level Access Shower Installations and Refurbishment Works.
Extension option for a further 2 years.

This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). If you wish to take part please register with Dudley MBC e-tendering website www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk and use the Register / Sign In button which is located on the left hand side of the page and complete the registration forms.
Following registration, an e-mail will be sent to you advising of your user ID along with a reminder of your e-mail address and password.
Details of the project are located under the All Opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest and receive the documentation. Once you have done this you must log back into the website using the details provided following registration and locate the contract document under Tenders, My Tenders on the menu.
The Tender should be received no later than Friday 8.9.2017 at (noon) 12:00 and will be available for download until 23:59 hours on Thursday 7.9.2017. URL: www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk
To access documents bidders are required to register with the website. The Council expressly reserves the right:
i) Not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice;
ii) To make whatever changes it sees fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition;
iii) To award contract(s) in respect of any part(s) of the requirement covered by this notice; and
iv) To award contract(s) in stages and in no circumstances will the Council be liable for any costs incurred by candidates.
