II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)The geological Survey of Norway (NGU) carries out a number of measurements from helicopter for the purpose of geological mapping. This is accomplished by a number of geophysical instruments mounted inside and outside the helicopter.
NGU invites herby competed firms to bid for the design, construction and certification of helicopter mounted equipment listed as follows:
A. Design, Construction, testing
a. Frame for gamma ray crystal sensor instrument mounted underneath the helicopter.
b. Cable for an Electromagnetic (EM) sensor hanging 30 m. underneath the helicopter.
c. Cable for a Magnetic sensor hanging 15 m. underneath the helicopter.
d. Instrumentation rack mounted inside the helicopter cabin.
e. Electrical safety connectors
f. Cabin power supply outlet
g. GPS antenna and radar altimeter connection.
The preferred aircraft is a helicopter type AS350B2 or similar, and the certification must comply with EASA standards.
