Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome Trust seeks to appoint a multi-disciplinary design team for its Reach for the Sky project to sensitively stabilise, conserve, restore surviving buildings (Listed Grade 2*); create a new standalone Welcome Centre including a cafe and shop; develop the existing Officers' Accommodation Block into the central hub of the site with gallery, museum and learning spaces.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Architect lead multi-disciplinary design teams who wish to be considered for inclusion on a select list of tenderers to provide the highest standards of design, conservation and presentation.

The appointment will include the following services:

— Architect (Lead Consultant) incorporating Conservation design; Landscape design; and interior design and Contract Administration;

— Structural Engineer;

— Mechanical and Electrical Engineer;

— Principal Designer (CDM);

— Access Consultant;

— Fire Engineer and Building Control.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:

The Standard Selection Questionnaire sets out the information required by the Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome Trust in order to assess the suitability of consultants to meet the requirement in terms of — grounds for exclusion; Economic and financial standing; Technical and professional ability etc. During the Standard Selection Questionnaire stage, the intention is to arrive at a short-list of between 4 (four) and a maximum of 6 (six) suitably qualified and experienced providers for formal Invitation to Tender.
