Places for People- Major Projects Hub
Places for people are seeking to appoint a sole supplier to deliver major project works and as such, wish to form a framework which will be utilised and owned by places for people procurement hub.
The works to principally be conducted under major projects hub will include all major project construction on new and existing buildings as well as retrofit, refurbishment, repairs and maintenance. It will also include the professional services attached to major project works such as architecture, employer’s agent and the various RIBA disciplines.

The provider will be expected to work closely, and co-operate with local government and other contracting authorities, in-house and external design consultants such as architects and employers agents, contractors and other partner providers.

Places for People have previously established a number of procurement contracts which would allow the contracting authority to select and appoint sub-contractors, consultants & other supply chain partners to deliver some of the works that might result from the major projects framework.
