High-end computer workstations (notebooks and desktops) and accessories for scientific use.
JRC Ispra (Varese, Italy)
The large variety of computer-intensive scientific activities of the JRC requires a wide range of high-end computer equipment heterogeneous in configuration and performance:
— High-end mobile workstations (notebooks and desktops); high-performance CPU, memory, storage, data acquisition and graphic processing units and add-ons;
— Computer components, peripherals and accessories: monitors, storage, various accessories.
Products must usually be of latest generation and with a 4-year guarantee so that the JRC can cope with ever-increasing requirements in computational and storage capacity.
A fully electronic ordering system is sought based on a public electronic catalogue accessible on internet. Electronic invoicing is also sought.

Please note that registration is not a pre-requisite to making an offer should a call be launched. Participation is open to all natural and legal persons within the scope of the EU Treaties, as well as all natural and legal persons established in a third country which has a special agreement with the European Union in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.
Registration of interest shall not convey any legal right or create a legitimate expectation of award of contract. The Contracting Authority reserves the right not to launch the planned procedure or to cancel or abandon without compensation any procedure launched on the basis of this publicity.
The contracting authority may decide not to launch a call for tender. No additional information will be provided before the publication of the contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union.
