The Contracting Authorities wish to establish a framework for:

— repairs and maintenance to buildings and external areas,

— repairs and maintenance to mechanical and electrical engineering installations,

— repairs and maintenance to plumbing installations,

— cyclical maintenance and statutory testing of mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing installations,

— minor capital works to buildings and external areas, including minor capital works for new build, refurbishment and alternation projects,

— mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing installations,

— energy efficiency installations,

— as part of the overall Constructing West Midlands (CWM) offer (see www.constructingwestmidlands.co.uk).

The Framework Agreement will be made up of 2 lots:

— Lot 1: Building Fabric Repair, Maintenance and Construction, and

— Lot :2 Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Repair, Maintenance and Installation.

It is anticipated that a minimum of 2 contractors will be appointed in each lot.

The Contracting Authorities wish to establish a framework for the delivery of repair and maintenance together with small projects to building fabric (including external areas) and mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations and energy efficiency installations that will be part of the overall Constructing West Midlands (CWM) offer (see www.constructingwestmidlands.co.uk).

The Framework Agreement will be made up of 2 lots: Lot 1: Building Fabric Repair, Maintenance and Construction and Lot 2: Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Repair, Maintenance and Installations. It is anticipated that a minimum of 2 contractors will be appointed in each lot.

This Framework Agreement will be for use by organisations delivering publicly funded projects in the West Midlands region.
