 7.Contract description

The overall objective of the TA is to contribute to supporting the efforts of the Government of Armenia to significantly reduce the rate of accidents, injury, and death associated with road transport, through improvement of black spots and road safety management capacity development.
The specific objective/purposes of the Technical Assistance operation are:
(i) ensuring proper quality of black spots improvement works; and
(ii) supporting capacity development for relevant authorities and stakeholders with the aim of reaching international standards regarding road safety.
The TA operation needs to be delivered by a team comprising international and local experts with relevant background and experience in similar projects in road safety engineering and capacity development.
