SKI is a Danish public procurement service, that establish solutions and agreements with in the public sector. However, the agreement (SKI 02.06/2) does not include professional support, making it necessary for DTU to purchase this support through a separate agreement alongside the main license agreement (EES) in order to ensure continuity and support for the use of the products. Microsoft Unified Support offers a comprehensive support system designed to help their customers to maximize their investment in Microsofts licenses. DTU needs the Unified agreement due to the following specifications: Reactive support, proactive support, advisory services, risk assessment and crisis management directly from the professional teams within Microsoft's internal organization.

Sonstige Begründung: Microsoft is the only provider globally of this service with the elements described in the offer, and the manufacturer does not use resellers to deliver these services. As a result, DTU is required to procure them directly from Microsoft. Furthermore, DTU already use Microsofts products and licenses, and in this context it is important, that the necessary support comes directly from Microsoft to ensure streamlined operational continuity. Since DTU currently cannot rely solely on reactive support handled by resellers, it is necessary to purchase the support from Microsoft (including reactive support, proactive support, advisory services, risk assessment and crisis management directly from the professional teams within Microsoft's internal organization , as there are currently no competitors on the market who can deliver all the required services at this time.
