Begründung der Direktvergabe: Der Auftrag kann nur von einem bestimmten Wirtschaftsteilnehmer ausgeführt werden, da aus technischen Gründen kein Wettbewerb vorhanden ist
Sonstige Begründung: The tendered offshore grid connection system NorthSeaConnector Project must multi-terminal-ready and interoperable with the converters already being implemented by Tennet TSO GmbH (TTG). In order to guarantee the connectivity of the HVDC connection via the DC hub Heide, which is bindingly specified in the confirmed NEP 2037/2045, and the interoperability of the 50Hertz components in this "closed system", a technically identical converter pair must be procured, as was procured by TTG from Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG in April 2023. For market reasons, the offshore platform on which the offshore converter will be installed, is integral part of the EPCI contract. The EPCI contract therefore was concluded with consortium Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG and Dragados Offshore S.A. as a whole. For reasons of confidentiality of business secrets, the contract value will not be published for the moment. A standard market price in the nine-figure range was agreed.
