Zusätzliche Informationen: Climate and environmental considerations in the procurement, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 7-9 The procurement is for the provision of cloud based services and limited consultancy use. The procurement is considered immaterial climate footprint and environmental impact, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 7-9 (5). The main service is the delivery of the cloud based ticket system and the operation/hosting of this. Market surveys have been carried out prior to the procurement. The contracting authority has confirmed that the delivery of a cloud-based SaaS system gives a minimal climate and environmental footprint, as the service requires little computing power and storage. The tenderers use modern computer centres with high energy efficiency. There will also be limited consultancy use in the contract. A consultant ́s climate footprint and environmental impact will be equal to the load from an average permanent employee. In a climate account, the employee ́s need for office space and equipment, the energy consumption in the building, jobs in, travel activities for work and waste generation that contributes to the employee ́s climate footprint and environmental impact. The Contracting Authority estimates that none of these elements fall within the nature of the procurement, which is a consultancy service. The consultancy business does not include a need for significant travel activities. Consequently there is talk of a procurement that, in its nature, has an immaterial climate footprint and environmental impact, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 7-9 (5), cf. also DFØ ́s guidelines on climate and environmental considerations in public procurements. The contracting authority is therefore exempt from the obligations to evaluate climate and the environment.
