Beschreibung: The modification was made pursuant to Article 175.3(b) of the Financial Regulation and the need for it has been brought by exceptional circumstances that the contracting authority could not reasonably foresee, namely a sudden and exceptionally rapid increase in the demand of the contract awarded under CLOUD II DPS MC5 due to the urgent need for the use of already operational sovereign solutions by the Buyers listed in the Contract Award Notice. As a result, the current ceiling will not be sufficient to cover the needs of the contracting authority until the maximum possible end date of the contract

Beschreibung der Änderungen: The initially awarded ceiling under CLOUD II DPS 1 MC5 of EUR 2 935 287.00 has been increased through Amendment No. 5 to direct contract 2020-47184 resulting from procedure Cloud II DIGIT/A3/PR/2018/035 DPS 1– MC5, by EUR 1 400 000.00 representing a 47.69% increase of the budgetary ceiling initially awarded, and thus resulting in EUR 4 335 287.00 (initial ceiling + ceiling increase) – see contract award notice OJ S: 21/2021 published on 01 February 2021.
