The Contractor shall deliver and operate a suitable Crew Transfer Vessel as well as qualified crew for the EnBW Offshore Windpark He Dreiht.

The Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) is Germany’s third largest energy provider. The company reached in 2020 a total turnover of about 20 billion Euro and has about 6 million customers. The EnBW AG is today involved in several offshore wind projects in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. The main offices for the renewable energy activities are located in Hamburg and Stuttgart, Germany.

EnBW He Dreiht will be located in the North Sea, 90 km northwest of Borkum and about 110 km west of Helgoland. With a capacity of 900 MW, He Dreiht is one of the largest planned offshore wind power projects in Europe and is scheduled to go into operation in 2025.

EnBW plans to charter a Crew Transfer Vessel during the construction phase of the Offshore Windfarm EnBW He Dreiht. The Contractor shall deliver and operate a suitable Crew Transfer Vessel as well as qualified crew for the EnBW Offshore Windpark He Dreiht.

The Contractor shall provide the CTV for transportation of personnel, tools and spare parts to various locations within the offshore construction sites, vessel as well as neighboring windfarms (EnBW Hohe See, Global Tech I, Bard). Planned base port is Emden, Germany.

Hauptort der Ausführung: Wind Offshore Park HeDreiht, North Sea

The Employer requires one Crew Transfer Vessel (minimum 16pax) for the transport of its personnel and personnel of its subcontractors as well as cargo transfer and associated works. The transport is mainly between the port of Emden and the offshore construction site HeDreiht. In individual cases, there is also a need to call other North Sea ports. In addition, the vessel is to transport personnel within the park and between the park and neighbouring parks and other vessels (e.g. installation vessel, OSV). The CTV shall be able to stay offshore for at least 72 hours. The charter of the Crew Transfer Vessel shall be from the 1st of April 2024 to the 31th of December 2025. The charter contract of the CTV can be extended until the 31st of March 2026. The start of work for the Crew Transfer Vessel is possible between the 1st of April and the 1st of June 2024. In the period between the 1st of December 2024 and 28th of February 2025, offshore works may be significantly reduced. For this period, the Employer reserves the right to announce a so-called "Winter Break". During this time, the CTV does not have to be available. Such a Winter Break Period shall be announced at least 14 calendar days in advance by the Employer. The Winter Break Period shall have a minimum duration of 14 calendar days. The Contractor is asked to offer a reduced day rate for such a winter break.
