Titel: Computer Vision Technology for Airport Operations
Beschreibung: Summary Finavia is exploring how Computer Vision Technology (CVT) and related operational analytics could support airport safety, operational efficiency, situational awareness and data-driven decision-making. The initial area of interest is a potential pilot at Helsinki Airport. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information in a transparent and supplier-neutral manner. Finavia seeks to understand solution maturity, relevant use cases, delivery and deployment alternatives, use of existing camera infrastructure where feasible, privacy and security approaches, scalability and indicative commercial models. The information received may be used to refine Finavia’s understanding of the market and to prepare a possible later procurement. No decision to procure, conduct a pilot, select a supplier or expand a solution has been made through this RFI. Any possible procurement would be conducted separately and would define its own scope, mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, contractual terms and acceptance criteria.

Suppliers are invited to describe relevant capabilities, applicable use cases, reference deployments, implementation and service approaches, technical and infrastructure models, privacy and security approach, scalability and indicative commercial structure. The contemplated initial step is a limited pilot at Helsinki Airport. The scope, objectives, success measures, implementation model, responsibilities and possible continuation would be defined separately if Finavia decides to proceed after the market consultation. Areas of interest - A potential CVT pilot at Helsinki Airport - Airport-operational use cases and operational event information - Pilot delivery and service approaches - Use of existing camera infrastructure where feasible - Technical architecture and integration alternatives - Privacy, cybersecurity and data-governance approaches - Scalability and indicative commercial models - Product and innovation roadmaps Information Requested from Suppliers - Supplier profile, proposed solution and delivery ecosystem. - Relevant capabilities, use cases, maturity, limitations and differentiators. - Relevant references and measurable outcomes where available. - Recommended approach and prerequisites for a potential pilot. - Camera, infrastructure, deployment and service considerations. - Privacy, security, data protection and data-governance approach. - Integration, interoperability, data access and portability approach. - Scalability from a pilot to broader use. - Indicative licensing, implementation, support, lifecycle and expansion cost drivers. - Key assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, risks and topics requiring further dialogue.
