Zusätzliche Informationen: The fixed agreement period is four (4) years from the date of signing the agreement. After the fixed period, the agreement shall remain valid until further notice. The procurement was carried out by means of a negotiated procedure in accordance with the Finnish Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts of Entities Operating in the Water and Energy Supply, Transport and Postal Services Sectors (1398/2016, the “Act on Public Procurement in the Utilities Sectors”). The procurement covers VR Group’s operations and legal entities in Finland, Sweden and Latvia. The Solution is intended to support the Group’s operations in these countries and may also be extended to other countries and new VR Group entities in the future, if necessary. The procurement is a joint procurement of VR-Group Plc and VR Snabbtåg Sverige AB as referred to in Article 57(4) of Directive 2014/25/EU, Section 32(3) of the Finnish Act on Public Procurement in the Utilities Sectors (1398/2016), and Chapter 7, Sections 9, 12, 13 and 14 of the Swedish Act on Procurement in the Utilities Sectors (2016:1146). VR-Group Plc conducted the procurement procedure on behalf of both VR-Group Plc and VR Snabbtåg Sverige AB and was responsible for the procurement procedure in its entirety. The procurement procedure was conducted in accordance with Finnish law and the applicable Finnish procurement legislation. For the avoidance of doubt, the procurement covers VR-Group Plc and its group companies. VR-Group Plc and VR Snabbtåg Sverige AB are specifically identified as contracting entities due to the applicable procurement law requirements, while the Solution may be used by the legal entities within VR Group as described above.
