Obiectul contractului il constituie proiectarea si executia lucrarilor de modernizare a drumului strategic judetean Birlad — Laza — Codaiesti (DJ 245, DJ 245M, DJ 247, DJ 246) in lungime de 82,649 km, impartite in trei loturi, respectiv:
1) Proiectare, pe fiecare lot in parte, in conformitate cu prevederile HG 28/2008, privind aprobarea conţinutului-cadru al documentaţiei tehnico-economice aferente investiţiilor publice, care include:
— elaborarea documentatiilor tehnice necesare obtinerii avizelor/acordurilor/autorizatiilor — faza PTh, pentru fiecare lot in parte,
— depunerea documentatiilor necesare pentru obtinerea avizelor/acordurilor/autorizatiilor la faza PTh, in numele beneficiarului,
— elaborarea proiectului tehnic, detaliilor de executie si caietelor de sarcini pe specialitati, pentru fiecare lot in parte,
— elaborarea documentaţiei tehnice pentru autorizarea executarii lucrarilor de construire (D.T.A.C.), pentru fiecare lot in parte,
