Procedure
TitleTITAN (Tethered Intelligence Tactical Aerial Node)
DescriptionThe UAS is to be considered as a flying surveillance system that can operate continuously due to the attached tether. Additionally, for pursuit situations, it is desired that the drone can be quickly detached from the tether in flight and operated as a conventional UAS, powered by the internal battery, while the tether is being furled. It should be easy in use and the reeling of the tether should be fast to allow for a quick deployment. Furthermore, the system should be reusable and durable, and allowing for a safe dropping of the tether. A Multiple procedure has been carried out pursuant to Main Task 1, due to the high urgency and the operational readiness of the armed forces.
