Description: PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Factory 02 (F02) project involves the development of a facility on a 7.5-hectare site in the Nordics, with approximately 14,000 m² to be built in Phase 1. Reason for modification: Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor.
Description: The contracting entity is making a contract amendment because it requires additional services related to the subject of the procurement, and changing the supplier during the ongoing service provision is not possible. The additional work include design and technical support services from the current supplier to support another supplier responsible for preparing the environmental permit application. The current supplier has the most comprehensive knowledge of the facility’s processes, layout, dimensions, and technical baseline data forming the basis of the environmental permit documentation. Therefore, it is technically necessary and most efficient that these services are provided by the supplier who originally prepared the design material. Replacing the supplier would jeopardize the continuity of service delivery and result in significant additional costs for the contracting entity.
7.1.1.

Description of modifications: The contract is amended to allow the contracting entity to procure additional work from the supplier, resulting in an increase in the overall contract value. However, the value of the contract amendment does not exceed 50% of the original contract value.
