Description: Das Institut für Strahlenphysik erforscht Zustände von Materie unter extremen Bedingungen und in sehr kleinen Dimensionen. Um grundsätzliche physikalische Phänomene zu untersuchen werden modernste Strahlungsquellen eingesetzt. Daher ist der Aufbau neuartiger Beschleuniger und die Weiterentwicklung und Verbesserung vorhandener Anlagen ein wesentliches Ziel des Institutes. Hochleistungslaser ermöglichen die Untersuchung der Wechselwirkungen von Licht und Materie. Für den Nachweis der Effekte auf kleinsten Skalen werden hochpräzise und sehr schnelle Detektoren entwickelt und eingesetzt. Die Verwendung der neuesten Hochleistungs-GPU-Computing-Technologie sorgt für eine Echtzeit-Handhabung großer Daten und setzt weltweite Standards für Open-Source-Simulationswerkzeuge für komplexe Systeme. Neben der Grundlagenforschung ist die Anwendung der Technologien ein zentrales Thema. In der modernen Strahlentherapie werden Entwicklungen aus unserem Haus eingesetzt. Die Forschung ist eingebettet in die Forschungsthemen "Materie" und "Gesundheit" der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft. Für die weitere Forschung werden drei Reinstgermaniumdetektoren benötigt mit den nachfolgenden und im Leistungskatalog enthaltenen Anforderungen welche im Angebot aufgeführt und im Angebotspreis enthalten sein müssen.
