Description: Ecopro AS is a waste treatment company owned by 64 municipalities in Mid-Norway, Innlandet and Nordland, mainly through intermunicipal waste companies. Ecopro AS receives more than 50,000 tonnes of food waste at its facility in Skjørdalen in Verdal municipality, where the waste is recycled and refined into biogas and nutrient-rich soil and fertiliser products. Ecopro AS takes particular responsibility for climate and environmental considerations and circular economy. The aim of Ecopro AS is also to safeguard the owners' responsibility and interests in the following areas: - Receive and process food waste and sludge from municipalities and intermunicipal companies, industry and private participants in Mid-Norway, including the establishment and operation of a joint waste treatment facility.- Coordinated transport of collected and sorted waste to a joint treatment facility.- Market and sell residual products and energy from waste treatment.- Provide related services in waste treatment.

Main features of the procedure: Ecopro AS invites tenderers to participate in the competition for the receipt and treatment of a project from our treatment facility in Verdal. This involves treatment in an incineration plant with energy utilisation. The reception and treatment facility (incineration plant with energy utilisation) shall be located within a maximum driving distance of 250 km from Ecopro ́s facility in Verdal municipality. Ecopro would also like tenders for a voluntary additional service (separate contract possibility). Part A - main service: reception and treatment of a project. This involves treatment in an incineration plant with energy utilisation. This part will form the basis for the award of contract. The tenders will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria stated in point 8.2. Part B - voluntary additional service: transport of a project on the stretch Ecopro - x. Tenders for Part B will be assessed separately and are not included in the evaluation, ranking or award of contract for the main service (Part A). Part B does not constitute an option for the main contract. The contracting authority reserves the right to enter into a separate contract for the additional service with the tenderer who has the most advantageous tender for the additional service, regardless of which tenderer is awarded a contract for the main service. The contracting authority will not be bound to enter into a contract based on a tender for Part B. Complete description of the assignment is given in Annex 2 description of the main service and voluntary additional service.
