Description: Το έργο περιλαμβάνει όλες τις απαραίτητες εργασίες έτσι ώστε το ανατολικό τμήμα των ενετικών οχυρώσεων να μπορέσει να λειτουργήσει ως οργανωμένος κοινόχρηστος χώρος και ως χώρος καταφυγής σε περίπτωση σεισμού. Ο χώρος των ανατολικών οχυρώσεων της παλιάς πόλης των Χανίων είναι συνολικής επιφάνειας περίπου 10.500 τ.μ. Ο συγκεκριμένος χώρος των ανατολικών τειχών έχει καταγραφεί με τον κωδικό CH10 ως χώρος καταφυγής για τον Δ. Χανίων, πληροί τα γενικά κριτήρια που θέτουν οι οδηγίες Πολιτικής Προστασίας και μπορεί να εξυπηρετήσει 4.000 άτομα.
