Main features of the procedure: Akershus University Hospital shall replace one of its three mammography apparatuses that are used in clinical activities. 14,000 clinical examinations are carried out annually at the Nordbyhagen department divided between the apparatuses. The apparatus shall be able to carry out standard mammography and tomosythesis technique for breast diagnostic examinations of patients who know/notice changes in the breasts, who are summoned from the screening, patients who go to checks after breast cancer etc.The device must have the possibility of using tomosynthesis technique in two different angles at different positions. The maximum TOMO angle should be greater than 35 degrees. The picture quality and ergonomics will be emphasised in the evaluation.
