Der Hochbau des neuen Technikgebäudes muss aufgrund der erforderlichen Vorlaufzeit für die Ausrüstung und Inbetriebnahme vorauseilend zur Erneuerung der restlichen Bahnhofinfrastruktur in Nendeln im Jahr 2025 hergestellt werden. Das Technikgebäude in Nendeln besteht aus Technikräumen, bzw. elektronischem Stellwerk (ESTW) samt dem unterirdischen Kollektor, der Klimagerätenische und Aufenthaltsräumen zur Erhaltung der Strecke ohne ständige Arbeitsplätze, mit zugehörigem Lager, Vordach und Außenanlage mit Servicewegen, Rampen, Parkflächen und einer Retentions- und Versickerungsanlage.
