DescriptionUNOPS, on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MHW) of Barbados, is implementing the Queen Elizabeth Hospital strengthening and improvement support project. As part of the implementation of the project, the objective of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a Contract for Goods for the provision of Medical Waste Containers and Waste Scales for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). The procurement process is divided into 11 lots as follows: Lot 1: Office Bins Lot 2: Waste container with a foot-pedal mechanism, designed for high-traffic indoor Lot 3: Red Bins Hands-free, heavy-duty biohazardous waste container with foot-pedal mechanism for clinical use Lot 4: Spill kits. Response equipment for the containment and cleaning of chemical substances and biological waste Lot 5: Waste weighing scale. Low-profile platform scale designed for weighing waste containers.
