Description: Die Kältetechnik unterteilt sich in zwei Bereiche. Die Versorgung der zwei Serverräume erfolgt über zwei Kältezentralen auf dem Dach, BTA und BTB. Hier besteht eine A‑ und B‑Versorgung mit je zwei Kältemaschinen à 160 kW und je einem Rückkühler mit 160 kW. Die Anlagen arbeiten mit dem Kältemittel R290 sowie dem Medium Glykol. Die Gebäudekälte wird über drei Kältemaschinen mit je 550 kW betrieben, wobei eine Maschine die Redundanz darstellt. Für den Winterbetrieb steht ein Rückkühler mit 300 kW zur Verfügung. Die Geräte befinden sich an der Südseite des Gebäudes neben dem Gaslager und verwenden ebenfalls R290. Insgesamt haben wir 6 stehende Klimaschränke (4 x 85kW mit Befeuchter und 2 x 80kW ohne befeuchter) für die Server und 82 ULK (bis 15kw). In der Zentrale stehen zwei Verteiler, über die alle Lüftungsgeräte und ULK versorgt werden. Zwei Wärmetauscher mit je 1100 kW Leistung wechseln vom Medium Glykol auf Wasser und puffern in einen 12 000‑Liter‑Speicher. Die Versorgung des Gebäudes wird über das Rohrnetzt von ca. 4.600m Stahlrohr realisiert.
