Title: Multi-supplier Framework Agreement with cascade for Minor Estates Works at St Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH)
Description: SVUH is seeking to establish Framework Agreements with qualified operators who can complete various small maintenance, and refurbishment works related services around the SVUH premises. Each service has the meaning of a stand-alone project, from preliminaries to completion. The following are examples only of works-related services which occur frequently at SVUH: Patient and Clinical Area Upgrades such as Flooring and Finishes, Redecoration and Surface Repairs, Installation of Fixtures and Fittings. SVUH makes the following assumptions with regards to the required services: The needs for these services occur within the existing footprint of an area and do not involve structural changes. They should take place alongside business as usual operations and should not require complete shutdown of a patient or clinical area. They incur minimal disruption to adjacent clinical services. Economic operators who will enter a Framework Agreement with SVUH will be briefed in detail on requirements for out-of-hours services. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Alterations such Lighting Upgrades, Small-Scale Plumbing Works, Data and Power Outlet Installations with regards to upgrades or replacements. The operators are expected to use high-quality materials and to adhere to all healthcare specific regulations and standards. Safety Enhancements such as Door Replacement, Minor Demolition and Reconfiguration. The Contracting Authority aims to establish a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement with a cascade mechanism, with up to five economic operators. Each economic operator will be offered an individual Framework Agreement with the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority is not sponsored under the Capital Works Management Framework (WMF), in the meaning of the same, but it uses the guidance and contract templates under the CWMF in order to ensure best practice is followed.
