Region Västernorrlands Rättspsykiatriska regionklinik (RPK) i Sundsvall är en av landets största enheter för vård och behandling av psykiskt sjuka lagöverträdare enligt lagen om rättspsykiatrisk vård (LRV), samt särskilt vårdkrävande patienter som vårdas enligt lagen om psykiatrisk tvångsvård (LPT). I uppdraget ingår också att vårda klienter från kriminalvården som bedöms ha ett psykiatriskt vårdbehov. Kliniken är belägen i Nacksta väster om Sundsvall och består av tio avdelningar med 140 vårdplatser. RPK är en högsäkerhetsanläggning och verksamheten bedrivs i säkerhetsklass 1, 2 och 3 enligt Socialstyrelsens klassificering i HSLF-FS 2025:52 Säkerheten är överordnad andra krav i anläggningen. Patienter, besökare likväl som de flesta i personalen måste genomgå allmän inpasseringskontroll för att få tillträde. Det finns ett avancerat fysiskt och tekniskt säkerhetssystem, en säkerhetsreception och en dygnet runt bemannad bevakningscentral.
