The proposed solution shall be suitable for the defined operating conditions, including flue gas flow, temperature, moisture content and dust loading, and shall be capable of integration with the existing boiler, draft system, stack and plant control infrastructure. The scope is expected to include, as applicable, the main abatement equipment, inlet and outlet ductwork interfaces, support steelwork, access platforms, insulation, ash collection and discharge arrangements, instrumentation, controls, electrical integration, and all associated ancillaries necessary for a complete and operable system. The system should be designed to achieve the required emissions performance while maintaining acceptable pressure drop, operability, maintainability and safe access for inspection and maintenance. The proposed equipment must be of proven industrial technology and conform to best practice design principles and all relevant European legislation and standards, including CE marking where applicable. The successful contractor shall be expected to undertake detailed engineering, equipment manufacture and supply, delivery to site, erection, testing, commissioning, performance verification, operator training and handover of the complete system, together with the provision of all relevant drawings, manuals and technical documentation.
