Description: Suppliers can deliver a climate report for the battery that takes its carbon footprint into consideration throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material taking and including assembly and transport from factory to delivery place. The supplier will be awarded climate reports in accordance with recognised standards and how much of the process the climate report covers. Documentation requirement: State total carbon footprint through standards such as: o ISO 14040/ISO 14044 (LCA framework) o ISO 14067 (Carbon footprint for products) o ISO 15804/ISO 14025 – EPD From the time the EU has decided the standard method for calculation in accordance with the EU's Battery Regulation, the documentation shall comply with this. The absolute carbon footprint for batteries shall be calculated as kilogram carbon equivalent equivalents, without reference to the functional unit as prescribed by the battery regulation.
