Dit voor zowel de reeds aanwezige toestellen als de nieuw aangekochte toestellen (beide percelen). De aan te kopen toestellen zijn nodig om de integriteit van HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters te controleren. Vaak worden deze toestellen beschreven als een integriteits-of aerosoltest. Met deze toestellen kan er controle gebeuren op het functioneren van de HEPA-filters alsook het opsporen van mogelijke lekkages. Een testaerosol wordt voor de filter in de luchtstroom gebracht, daarna wordt er met een deeltjesdetector (fotometer) gekeken of er deeltjes achter de filter doorkomen.
