Description: Οι προτεραιότητες Ι και ΙΙ επικεντρώνονται στην ενίσχυση της ενεργειακής αυτονομίας στα νησιά μέσω της αξιοποίησης Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών Ενέργειας (ΑΠΕ) και συστημάτων αποθήκευσης. Περιλαμβάνεται η εγκατάσταση φωτοβολταϊκών συστημάτων σε συνδυασμό με μπαταρίες για την κάλυψη των αναγκών τελικής χρήσης, καθώς και η ανάπτυξη σταθμών ΑΠΕ με επενδυτική στήριξη. Επιπλέον, προβλέπεται η ενίσχυση για την εγκατάσταση υβριδικών συστημάτων που συνδυάζουν διαφορετικές μορφές ΑΠΕ, καθώς και η τοποθέτηση αυτόνομων συστημάτων αποθήκευσης ενέργειας για μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία και ασφάλεια εφοδιασμού.

Description: Οι προτεραιότητες Ι και ΙΙ περιλαμβάνουν την ανάπτυξη υπεράκτιων αιολικών πάρκων και τη διασύνδεση των νησιών με το ηπειρωτικό δίκτυο, καθώς και την κατασκευή φραγμάτων και ταμιευτήρων πολλαπλών χρήσεων για ενίσχυση της ενεργειακής και υδρολογικής ασφάλειας. Προβλέπεται η υλοποίηση υποθαλάσσιων και χερσαίων ηλεκτρικών διασυνδέσεων σε νησιωτικά συμπλέγματα όπως οι Κυκλάδες, τα Δωδεκάνησα και το Βόρειο Αιγαίο, σε διαδοχικές φάσεις. Στις δράσεις περιλαμβάνονται επίσης υποδομές για ηλεκτροδότηση ελλιμενισμένων πλοίων από την ξηρά («cold ironing») και η ανάπτυξη δικτύου σταθμών φόρτισης ηλεκτρικών οχημάτων, ώστε να υποστηριχθεί η πράσινη μετάβαση στις μεταφορές.
