Description of selection criterion: Durch ein Brandereignis Ende November 2025 in der Grundschule Beuthener Straße wurden die Aula, ein Großteil der Sanitäranlagen sowie wesentliche Teile des zentralen Erschließungstrakts zerstört. Übergangsweise findet der Unterricht daher in Räumlichkeiten der kürzlich fertiggestellten Käthe -Paulus -Schule statt und soll zum Schuljahr 2027/28 an den Ausweichstandort in der Erythropelstraße umziehen, bis die Umbauarbeiten am Hauptstandort abgeschlossen sind. Die abgebrannten Gebäudeteile werden wieder aufgebaut, die Grundschule außerdem komplett saniert und um eine Mensa sowie eine Zweifeldsporthalle auf das erforderliche Raumprogramm einer vierzügigen Grundschule erweitert. Die damit einhergehende Neustrukturierung der Schulaußenanlagen ist Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung
