Description: The Norwegian Coastal Administration shall procure two work and inspection boats for use in oil spill actions and exercises in Svalbard. The boats shall be built in aluminium and delivered in accordance with Nordic Boat Standards (NB).

Main features of the procedure: The boats shall have high load capacity and at the same time good speed characteristics also without cargo. They shall be secure, comfortable and practically designed for their intended use. The total length of the boats (LOA) shall not exceed 8 metres. Complete delivery shall be carried out during 2027. Tenderers shall, in their general solution description, give an account of the planned construction and delivery of the boats. The Norwegian Coastal Administration intends to enter into a contract during 2026.The main delivery includes two boats that shall be delivered to Longyearbyen in Svalbard. In addition an option is included for up to two equivalent boats with delivery to Horten. The option can be taken up for a period of up to 36 months from the delivery date of the last vessel in the main delivery. See the complete tender documentation under documents in Mercell.
