Achiziția este necesară și oportună pentru dotarea obiectivului de investiții ”Institutul de cercetări avansate de mediu”, astfel încât să se asigure infrastructura de cercetare la standardele ridicate și pentru atingerea obiectivelor prevăzute în proiectul cu finanțare nerambursabilă și contribuție a achizitorului, astfel:
• Achiziționarea a minim 14 echipamente de Cercetare Dezvoltare de peste 100.000 euro (TVA inclus)
• Achiziționarea a minim 150 echipamente de Cercetare Dezvoltare
Acestea sunt destinate dotării laboratoarelor prevăzute în proiect cu suprafața minimă de 2500 mp și vor fi utilizate în activitatea de cercetare, în prima etapă, de minim 20 de cercetători noi și 10 cercetători transferați din cadrul Universității de Vest din Timișoara.
În cadrul acestei proceduri autoritatea contractantă intenţionează să încheie contracte pentru echipamente de laborator în valoare estimată de 13.606.028,20 lei fără TVA, urmând ca eventuala economie realizată să fie utilizată pentru achiziția de echipamente și respectiv softuri în a doua etapă într-o nouă procedură de achiziție. Pentru asigurarea unei unei largi participări, inclusiv a producătorilor de echipamente, s-a optat pentru împărțirea în 45 de loturi.
