Justification for the duration of the framework agreement: Het UMCG kiest er bewust voor om af te wijken van de gebruikelijke contractduur van vier jaar. Deze keuze is gebaseerd op het streven naar een strategisch partnerschap, waarbij continuïteit, implementatie en intensieve samenwerking centraal staan. De levering van technische en medische gassen inclusief co- makersfunctie vraagt om een zorgvuldige implementatie en een hoge mate van afstemming en betrouwbaarheid. Daarnaast moet de leverancier in staat zijn om specifieke gassen voor het ziekenhuis te ontwikkelen en te produceren, wat een nauwe en langdurige samenwerking vereist. Bovendien brengt dit voor de leverancier aanzienlijke investeringen met zich mee. Een langere contractduur biedt de noodzakelijke zekerheid om deze investeringen verantwoord terug te verdienen en de implementatie en dienstverlening duurzaam te borgen.
