Voor het project is reeds een Definitief Ontwerp (DO) beschikbaar. De gemeente overweegt de geselecteerde aannemer eerst in een bouwteamfase te betrekken. De toegevoegde waarde van het bouwteam wordt daarom niet primair gezocht in het opnieuw ontwerpen van de openbare ruimte, maar onder andere 14.400 m² openbare ruimte
