Title: Kunstmuseum Moritzburg - Umzug
Description: Aufgrund anstehender umfangreicher Baumaßnahmen am Objekt Moritzburg im Rahmen eines von Bund und Land finanzierten Sonderinvestitionsprogramms, die sich über etwa 3-4 Jahre erstrecken werden, wurde nach reiflicher Abwägung und Diskussion beschlossen, den Museumsstnandort Moritzburg komplett zu beräumen, das heißt nahezu alle Kunstgegenstände und alle Büros sowie alles damit zusammenhängende Equipment in ein Interim umzuziehen. Am Ende der baubedingten Inerimszeit 2031/32 soll das neue Zentraldepot als Sammlungszentrum der Kulturstiftung Sachsen-Anhalt fertiggestellt und bezugsfertig sein. Das bedeutet, dass 2031/32 der Auszug aus dem Inerim ansteht, der zu einem Teil mit der Mehrzahl der Objekte und Mitarbeitenden und den zur Dauerausstellung gehörenden Werke zurück in die Moritzburg gehen wird. Als Interminsstandort wurd ein Teil des leerstehenden Kaufhauskomplexes von ehemals Galeria Kaufhof direkt am zentralen marktplatz der Stadt Halle (Saale) gefunden. Im Gebäude Markt 20 werden die Etagen 3 bis 5 ab 2027 angemietet. Im 3. Geschoss soll eine Ausstellungsfläche für die Präsentation der Sammlung und von Sonderausstellungen geschaffen werden; im 4. Geschoss wird das Interim-Depot für das Kunstgut eingereichtet; im 5. Geschoss werden die Büros, Sozialräume und Lagerflächen verortet sein. Insgesamt werden ca. 5.000 m² Fläche angemietet. Ebenerdig im Erdgeschoss an der Straße 5 Neuhäuser befindet sich die zentrale Anlieferung. Der Eingangsbereich mit Ticketing und Museumsladen wird sich nördlich an die Große Steinstraße befinden.
