Binnen de waardering van de terreinen van Defensie neemt deze groep ook een steeds prominentere plaats in. Vanuit de opdrachtgever is er de behoefte om twee inventarisaties voort te zetten en een nieuwe inventarisatie op te zetten. De opdracht geldt voor 3 opeenvolgende jaren, aangezien er 3 jaar nodig is voor een volledige inventarisatie van de mycoflora in een gebied.
