Justification for the duration of the framework agreement: Er wordt een overeenkomst afgesloten voor de duur van twee (2) jaar met drie (3) keer de mogelijkheid tot een verlenging van één (1) jaar. De maximale contractduur is dus vijf (5) jaar. Er is gekozen voor een looptijd van vijf (5) jaar, omdat een langere contractduur leidt tot een stabielere prijsstelling en een betere spreiding van risico's op de energiemarkt. Hierdoor kunnen inschrijvers elektriciteitsvolumes voor een langere periode inkopen en afdekken, hetgeen naar verwachting resulteert in gunstigere voorwaarden en een doelmatige besteding van publieke middelen.
