Das ISEK wird einen Maßnahmenkatalog mit einer festgelegten Priorisierung beinhalten, den es umzusetzen gilt. Vorentwürfe des ISEKs und des Maßnahmenkataloges sind den Vergabeun-terlagen beigefügt. Das Förderprogramm umfasst in seinem räumlichen Schwerpunkt die südliche Innenstadt der Stadt Hom-berg (Efze) beginnend am Busbahnhof/Wallstraße, übergehend zur Homberger Freiheit und den Bereich der Ziegenhainer Straße. Im ISEK-Prozess soll das Fördergebiet um zwei Bereiche ergänzt werden – der Stellberg mit Sportpark sowie die Untergasse. Ziel des gesamten Entwicklungsprozesses des ISEKs sowie der anschließenden Umsetzung der Maß-nahmen ist die qualitative Aufwertung des Fördergebietes in der Homberger Innenstadt. Dieses schließt die Verbesserung der Nutzbarkeit und die bessere sozialräumliche Vernetzung für verschiedene Bevölkerungsgruppen mit ein.
