Description: Het bestaande stadhuis Geleen wordt grondig gerenoveerd tot nieuwbouw kwaliteit. Daarvoor wordt het bestaande stadhuis circulair gedemonteerd tot de betonnen hoofddraagconstructie. De gevels worden voor het grootste deel vervangen of zeer grondig gerenoveerd. Het totale inbouwpakket van zowel het publieke deel als ook de werkomgeving wordt vervangen. De complete installaties worden vervangen door duurzame installaties met de ambitie van ENG. Het huidige BVO bedraagt 5.086 m2. Inmiddels is het integraal ontwerpteam geselecteerd en is de ontwerpfase gestart. Er is sprake van een traditioneel ontwerpproces, waar -na afronding van de VO-fase- het ontwerp verder in een samenwerkingsverband uitgewerkt wordt. De aannemer wordt dan als bouwtechnisch adviseur aan het integraal ontwerpteam toegevoegd en verkrijgt daarnaast het als eerste en enige partij het recht een definitieve prijsopgave voor de realisatie van de het werk. zie selectieleidraad
