De gemeente Gooise Meren ziet kansen om de hierboven beschreven onderhoudswerkzaamheden en de aanleg van het warmtenet mogelijk te combineren, ten einde te voorkomen dat de aanleg van het warmtenet (op een later moment) zorgt voor een degeneratie van openbare ruimte en om kansen ten aanzien van efficiency en beperking van transactiekosten te benutten. 6 percelen / wijken in Muiderberg.
